Travis Cullen kicked off the weekend of harness racing at Century Downs on a winning note with a training/driving triple during Friday's (June 3) eight-race program.
Cullen swept the early Daily Double with claiming mares Runway Model ($5.80) and Cowgirl Poker ($3.30), who both now have three straight victories. Cullen also won the fourth race with three-year-old pacing filly Alfa Bagel Hanover ($2.80), an Alberta newcomer that was claimed for $10,500 by Monica Hudon and Donald McDougall.
With 114 wins on the season, Cullen boasts an outstanding training URS of .591 to lead in the nation-wide standings. His .582 driving average is also a Canadian chart-topper.
