Civil Shepherd drew off to win by 10 lengths in a division of the Floating Dream series on Wednesday night at Scioto Downs. The sophomore daughter of Yankee Cruise was piloted by her trainer Jim Dailey to victory in 1:56.4 over a track rated 'good.'
The other division of the Floating Dream went to Any Places Dream and driver Trent Tharps in 1:57.4. She led all the way and won comfortably for owner-trainer Johnson Hill, Jr.
Masters Sweetie continued her winning ways in the fastest division of the Killbuck Mary series for trotting fillies. The four-year-old Master Lavec mare scored for owner-trainer Ed Birmele in 2:00.2 with Jeff Nisonger in the sulky.
Lima Echo won the other division of the Killbuck Mary by a head over Ms Budda Bing and favoured Curly Top. She scored in 2:02.1 for driver Del S. Miller and trainer Jim Arledge, Jr.
