CMR Maybe Loaded Extends Lead

CMR Maybe Loaded, North America's winningest standardbred of the season, padded her win total with another victory on Friday night at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Driven by Stephane Gendron for trainer Jamie Copley, the nine-year-old Fully Loaded mare front-stepped her way to a 1:57 three and a quarter length score in her claiming assignment, giving her 15 wins on the year. Winning Mister, Royal Outlook, Albion and Incredible Gambler sit second in the standings three wins behind. CMR Maybe Loaded, owned by Saverino and Graziano Spagnolo of Ottawa, Ont., was claimed for $8,125 by Pierre Marc Longpre of Legardeur, Que.

The Copley stable ended the 15-race night with three wins. Five-year-old Mcardle mare McGain N McGain improved her seasonal record to five wins in as many starts with a 1:56.3 victory while five-year-old Credit Winner gelding Credit Balance pocketed a 1:57 triumph.
