William Cantrell's Classic Belisima ($4.80, Jon Roberts) won her sixth straight race Wednesday in the $16,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway in 1:55.
Trained by John Cabot, the four-year-old daughter of Crazed was making her Harrington debut after five consecutive wins, including a sweep of the Weiss Series at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Leaving from post position one, Classic Belisima took no prisoners in her front end romp that resembled a training mile over Wingus and I Like My Boss. It was her 10th win of the year. Favourite Powerful Charger, who was bidding for a third straight triumph, made a break near the three-quarters and never threatened the winner.
Tony Morgan had four wins on the program. Ross Wolfenden drove three winners.
