Victor Kirby, Tyler Raymer, Stephen Moss and Brian Hoffecker's Quiksilvr Bluechip was a 1:56 winner in the $20,000 Open Trot on Wednesday (June 29) at Harrington Raceway.
The six-year-old Credit Winner emerged from the pocket near the three-quarters and took the lead from pacesetter Secret Jet via a strong surge and pulled away for a two-length win. Monarch gained well from post eight to finish second while Hatikvah was third. Quiksilvr Bluechip notched his fourth win of the year, all but one (Jan. 4 at Bally's Dover) have come at Harrington. Driver Victor Kirby also trains the $5.60 winner.
Bart Dalious and Mike Cole each had three winners on the card. Tony Morgan and Allan Davis each had a double.
Live racing will be conducted next Tuesday (July 5) and Wednesday (July 6) at Harrington prior to the customary summer break. Post time is 4:30 p.m. (EDT).
