Leading Scioto Downs driver Chris Page was on fire during the track’s 13-race Thursday night card.
Things started to heat up for Page in Race 4, when he won with Cruznwithdabigdog in 1:53.4 for trainer Ron Burke.
Page followed up that win with a 1:53.2 victory aboard The Shoe Fits in Race 5 for leading Scioto trainer Virgil Morgan Jr.
Then, in Race 6, he drove Pin Stripes to a wire-to-wire 1:53.2 victory for trainer Scott Mogan.
He cooled off for a few races, but in Race 10 he was back at it with Erik Jaeck Jr. trainee Mischievous Jesse, who got the job done in 1:57. Page then recorded another victory with Phantom Flasher, who got the job done in 1.53.4 for trainer Becky Zubkoff.
Page currently leads Scioto’s driving colony in wins. His closest competition, Josh Sutton, is currently more than 20 wins behind him.
Racing at Scioto continues on Saturday, June 28, as a 14-race program is scheduled. First-race post time for the card is 6:30 p.m.
