Ramborain (Dan Daley) battled to victory in the $20,270 Open Handicap Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday, June 21 for his third consecutive win.

Duly Resolved (Tyler Miller) took the early lead before ceding command to Dewey Arnold (Aaron Byron) just past the quarter in :26.2. Dewey Arnold brought the field to the half in :54.4, but Ramborain ($19) came with a brush down the backstretch and reached three-quarters first in 1:23.2. Eventual second place finisher Purple Lord (Jim Pantaleano) battled Ramborain all the way down the stretch, but Ramborain dug in deep and won in a lifetime best of 1:53.4. Mon Amour (Mike Merton) finished third.

Ramborain, a four-year-old gelding by Crazy Wow-Scarlett Rayne Deo, is trained by Dan Daley for owners Ann-Mari Daley, Jlrl LLC, Todd Van Alstyne, and Margeret Waterbury.  He stepped up to the top trot after a high-level conditioned win last week. He scored his fifth win this season in eight starts, and he now has 11 career victories from 32 appearances and $136,805 in earnings.

Tyler Miller won the last four races of the night for a grand slam on the 10-dash card. He got his wins with Kingpin Hanover ($9.60), P Chico ($3.20), Smart As Hill ($10.40), and Our Night Fury ($4.70).

Tioga Downs holds its next card of live racing on Sunday, June 22, with a post time of 1 p.m.
