Stage Set For Pacing For Charity

Century Downs Racetrack and Casino will host the second annual Pacing For Charity event this Sunday afternoon, and three of the nation’s leading reinsmen will make the trip to take on some of Alberta's finest to raise awareness for charity.

Drivers Jody Jamieson and James MacDonald, who were participants in last year’s inaugural Pacing For Charity event, will be returning for the 2017 edition and will be also joined by Doug McNair.

"It should be fun; I've never been to Calgary, it's a charity event which I love to be a part in and it's always exciting racing at a new track," driver Doug McNair told Trot Insider.

The drivers will be available for an autograph session and fans can enjoy great food and a spectacular day at the races.

In addition to raising awareness for autism, juvenile diabetes and breast cancer, overall charitable donations raised during last year's event were in excess of $8,000.
