Tornado Touches Down At Churchill Downs

Multiple barns at Churchill Downs were damaged when a tornado touched down at the Louisville, Kentucky thoroughbred racetrack on Wednesday

.

According to an article in The Courier-Journal, the tornado touched down at the track, taking down power lines and causing damage to at least five barns. While some horses were reportedly running loose, no injuries have been reported at this time.

Churchill Downs, which hosts live racing Thursdays through Sundays with simulcasting on Wednesdays, has cancelled its Thursday card.
