Trainers Rachel Andrew and Ken Oliver both put forth three-win performances to tie for top conditioning honours on Saturday, June 20 at Georgian Downs.

Oliver’s triple kicked off the card and was concluded by the fourth race. He swept the early double, winning with Lyons I Wanna Chip ($8.30), who swept to a 1-3/4-length score in 1:55.4 for his second straight win, and Lyons Trina ($25.10), who hung on to win by a nose in 1:53.4. The double returned $84. Lyons On The Beach ($2.40) then broke his maiden with a front-stepping 1-1/2-length victory in 1:56.2 in the fourth race. Scott Coulter drove all three Oliver trainees.

Oliver, coming off a career-best year of 38 wins, is 15-for-73 in 2026 for a win rate of 20.5 per cent. He has 575 wins in 3,937 career starts.

Andrew won the third race with La Patrona Bella ($8.20), now two-for-two since moving to Ontario from Indiana, who cruised to a five-length, 1:54.3 victory. The trainer then took the eighth and ninth races, with Alessandra ($14.80) kicking off the back-to-back tallies with a 1:56.3 win by a half-length. Longblacklimousine ($12) then circled the field in the ninth, coming back from 19 lengths behind at the half and winning by a nose in 1:57. Andrew enlisted Austin Sorrie, her fellow 2020 Future Star Award finalist, to pilot her three winners.

Andrew’s three wins in four starts on the card bolstered her seasonal totals to 21 victories from 74 starts, raising her strike rate to 28.4 per cent. She is now 310-for-1,761 lifetime.

Driver Paul MacKenzie was recognized by Georgian Downs for reaching the 9,500 win milestone in the evening's sixth race with pacing mare My Little Chloe.
