The Monday (June 21) card of qualifiers at Gaitway Farm featured a total of eight baby races on the 14-race session.

Just Divine opened the morning with the fastest mile for two-year-old pacing fillies when stopping the clock in 1:56 despite a backstretch gallop. The Ron Burke-trained daughter of Huntsville pulled pocket past a :30.1 opening quarter but lost stride briefly while first over up the backside. Regaining her stride, Just Divine progressed to the lead past three-quarters in 1:28.4 to win by 1 3/4 lengths over pacesetter Boudoir Hanover. Goo Goo Won finished third. Yannick Gingras drove the winner.

Later in the card, Burke and Gingras teamed with the Somebeachsomewhere filly Hoffman Hanover to match the fastest time on the day for the division. She sat a pocket trip through fractions of :29.4, :59.2 and 1:27 before pouncing in the stretch to reach the beam in 1:56 a length better than Miss Helen Hanover. American Halo, after setting the tempo, finished third.

Burke sent the quickest winner from the pair of colt and gelding paces with JMs Finaltreasure, a gate-to-wire victor in 1:54.1. Driver Tim Tetrick landed the son of Sweet Lou on the point to a :30.1 first quarter and rated to the half in :59.2. He quickened to three-quarters in 1:26.3 and finished wrapped up in 1:54.1, two lengths better than stablemate Wehadababyetzaboy. Letmecallyouback finished third.

Secret Rule won the lone division of the colt and gelding trot going coast-to-coast in 1:59.1. Joe Bongiorno took control with the Jen Bongiorno trainee to a :31.1 first quarter and coasted through a clip of 1:01.4 and 1:30.4 to win going away by 3 1/2 lengths over Paymaq. Brave By Design finished another four lengths behind in third.

In the lone filly trot, Bongiorno teamed with trainer Ron Burke to hit the line first with the Chapter Seven filly Cowboy Crushn in 1:58.3. Away third past a :30.1 opening quarter, Bongiorno brushed Cowboy Crushn to the point and led the field through a 1:00.4 half and three-quarters in 1:30.2. She accelerated into the stretch while chased by Dreamonhigh to win by 1 1/2 lengths while Elegant Mermaid gapped in third another six lengths behind.
