It has been reported that on Wednesday, June 20 the New York State Assembly unanimously passed a bill which will allow the restructuring of the board of the New York Racing Association.
According to an article by the Thoroughbred Times, the bill, which would replace the current 25-director NYRA board, would lead to a reduced board of 17 selected by NY Governor Andrew Cuomo.
The bill must now pass the State Senate
