The Quebec Jockey Club has announced the appointment of Andre Drolet as head of operations
.
The longtime director of Quebec's regional circuit will be organizing the six regional racing programs scheduled for Quebec this year by the QJC, as well as the 10 cards to be held at Hippodrome de Quebec in September and October.
The former civil servant is a licensed race secretary.
Entries are now being taken for the first regional card of the season in Quebec, scheduled for Sunday at Ferme Drummond in St. Hugues.
