Isabellas Wish picked up her first win of the season in wire-to-wire fashion on Saturday afternoon in the $1,650 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Miami Fair

Driven by Darryl Mason, Isabellas Wish took full advantage of the inside post position as she fired to the lead and circled the Manitoba half-miler passing quarter markers of :30, 1:01.4 and 1:32.3 en route to a seven-length victory in 2:03.1.
Fiddlin Philly (Dallas McGee) played follow the leader to finish second while the favourite A Day To Play (Ron Cullen), who was fifth and last at the top of the stretch, came on to show.
Mason owns the five-year-old Real Artist mare with trainer Sherryl Mason. Isabellas Wish made her first start at Miami today after racing at Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, Minnesota during her previous five ’09 outings. The win was the 16th of her career lifting her bankroll over the $50,000 mark.
