Ridge Warren drove five winners including longshot lass Aint She Pretty in the $21,528 Fillies & Mares Open Pace during the 13-race card at Tioga Downs on Friday, June 19.
After following in third through fractions of :27, :55.4 and 1:24, Aint She Pretty came flying down the lane for Warren to defeat pacesetter Bri Express N (Grey Merton) by three-quarters of a length in 1:52.1. Just Rosas Luck (Mike Merton) was third best off a pocket trip.
Stepping up in class off a 1:53.1 career-best victory at Tioga last Friday, Aint She Pretty was the longest shot on the board in the field of top-level distaffers and returned $23.62 for the upset win.
Dustin Miller trains the six-year-old All Bets Off-Chantilly Rose mare, acquired via the claiming ranks at Tioga by last summer by owners Henry Ottinger of Unadilla, New York and Michael Waters of Bridgeton, New Jersey. Aint She Pretty improved her seasonal scorecard to 3-1-1 from eight starts while notching her 22nd career victory.
Warren won the next three races with Ibetyouakiss ($11.40) for trainer Jeff Byron, Kootenay Santana ($7.08) for Kevin Reynolds Jr. and Bak In The USA ($6.64) to give Dustin Miller a training double. He later capped off his five-win night in the finale with Breeze Inheritance ($6.34) for Timothy Miller Jr.
The next live harness racing card at Tioga Downs is set for Saturday, June 20 with post time at 6:15 p.m.
