In an effort to help the Monticello Harness Horsemen’s Association with their efforts to raise proceeds for the family of the late Richie Ingrassia on Sunday, June 20
, Jeffrey Gural, owner and Chairman of American Racing and Entertainment, who has personally donated $2,500 already to the fund, has stated that Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs will match the proceeds for each person that attends the breakfast at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame this Sunday in Goshen, New York. Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs will at least contribute a minimum of $2,500 and hopefully more to the fund depending on the turnout.
“It is always a tragedy when someone dies at a young age, and it’s nice to see the industry step up to help his wife and children. We are happy to match any money raised at the event,” said Gural.
The breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to noon and is $15 for adults and $10 for children.
