Silver Detector stayed undefeated in the 2026 Prospect Series for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings as he went gate-to-wire in the second $8,000 division of Leg 2B on Wednesday, June 17 at Grand River Raceway.

The returning Prospect Series champion out-muscled his rivals to secure the lead off the gate and produced :28.1, :59.3 and 1:28.2 fractions. He never allowed the first-up Beau Knight (Austin Sorrie) closer than his wheel, and despite drifting out down the lane, he handily held off pocket-tripper Magic Liam (Guy Gagnon) by two lengths for the 1:57.3 victory. Beau Knight finished third.

Silver Detector is seven-for-eight lifetime in the Prospect Series, with his sole defeat resulting from a break in a preliminary leg last season. The son of Alarm Detector-Silver took three rounds and the final at two and is three-for-three in the series so far this campaign. The Jean-Francois Maguire trainee is eight-for-13 overall with $41,450 in earnings for Silver Stables of Venise-en-Quebec, Que. He paid $3.70 to win.

Totally Iconic ($6.10) romped in the first split, earning a 1:59.2 mark for driver Paul MacKenzie and trainer Richard Lareau. The Muscle Mass-Ionia gelding circled the pacesetter, who broke while under pressure on the final turn, and cruised home a 7-1/2-length winner.

Stonebridge Mac ($2.60) pushed to the front past the quarter and notched a 2-1/2-length win in the final group. Trevor Henry steered the gelded son of Green Manalishi S-Stonebridge Encore to the 1:58 victory for trainer Scott McEneny.
