Apex wins again remains No. 1 this week in the "Road To The Hambletonian" rankings but there was major movement in positions two through 10.
Diabolic Hill moved up to No. 2 after his second-place finish in the New Jersey Sire Stakes Platinum final behind winner Apex on June 12 at The Meadowlands and Big Ranger moved into third off another track record performance at Scioto Downs in Ohio Sires Stakes on June 13. Neighver Punt moved up to No. 5 off his Goodtimes Trot upset at Woodbine Mohawk Park while a 1:50 sophomore gelding world record performance in the Silver final of the NJSS put Nix Nacken back onto the list at No. 8.
The rankings are compiled by Meadowlands Racetrack's Ken Warkentin each week leading up to the 101st Hambletonian (Grade 1), which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8 at The Meadowlands.
