Bay Rum captured the $6,000 featured Vernon Downs' pace on Sunday, June 16.
Poisonous led to a first quarter of :26.2 before Electrofire claimed the lead prior to hitting a :55.3 half.
Bay Rum, who is owned by Glasser Racing and trained by Homer Hochstetler, made his move from third after the half. He controlled the pace as they hit three-quarters in 1:24.0.
He then held off Poisonous' late charge to secure his seventh-straight win in the 1:53.1 mile. Poisonous was second but place seventh for causing interference in the first turn. Electrofire was awarded second with Dreams Beachboy being placed third.
Bay Rum is a six-year-old gelding by Real Desire. It was his eighth win of 2019 and his 19th victory overall. Howard Parker drove the $4.50 winner.
Parker won four on the special Father's Day card. His other wins came with Hands Off Frank ($12.40), Golden Brit ($5.40), and Heaven's Storm $3.50).
Vernon Downs returns to live racing on Friday, June 21 with a post time of 6:10 p.m.
