Grand River Raceway's leading driver Trevor Henry topped the Friday night card of harness racing in Elora, Ont. as he guided home five winners thanks in part to the help of teamster Paul Taylor.

Henry and trainer Taylor combined to win three races during the 12 race program. Kicking off the card, the duo clicked with three-year-old pacing gelding J J S Jet ($11.60). Henry returned to the winner's circle after fashioning a second race victory aboard the Robert Morrison-trained seven-year-old trotter Berto Bravo ($2.80) and made it a natural hat trick with Taylor's seven-year-old pacer Ram Of The Night ($12.60) after winning the next dash. The Henry-Taylor team also won the fifth race with six-year-old trotter American Royal ($3.30). Henry's fifth and final victory of the night came in the seventh race aboard four-year-old trotting mare Thats What I Do ($4.10) for conditioner Dan Creighton.

The Arthur, Ont. resident currently ranks second in Canada for wins this year with 203 and is among the top 10 money earning reinsmen in the country with more than $1.25 million banked in purses. His .373 win percentage places him fourth in that category in the national standings.
