Duly Resolved ($4.80) and driver Tyler Miller captured the $21,918 Open Handicap Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday, June 15.

City Of Hope (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) took the lead and led to the quarter in :27. He used a :29.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.1. Duly Resolved made his move going first-over down the backstretch. City Of Hope led to three-quarters in 1:24.4. As they reached the stretch, Duly Resolved surged by to get the win in 1:54.3. May Baby (Braxten Boyd) came on late to finish second and Sevenshotsobourbon (Tom Merton) was third.

Duly Resolved is a five-year-old gelding by Resolve. He is owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Jeff Cullipher. The former O'Brien Award winner recorded his fourth victory of the season from 14 starts and now has 13 career wins with his earnings climbing to $914,544.

Braxten Boyd recorded a driving triple on the card. Tyler Miller and Bruce Aldrich Jr. each posted driving doubles.

Live harness racing returns to Tioga Downs on Sunday, June 16, with a 10-race card starting at 1 p.m.
