After picking the worst time for his first loss as a sophomore, Century Farroh atoned for that off-the-board effort in his 2019 Pepsi North America Cup elimiation with a sharp performance in the $75,000 North America Cup Consolation.
Kicking off the action in the second race of the card was the $75,000 Pepsi North America Cup Consolation. Favoured Century Farroh (Sylvain Filion) went to the front early, sizzled an opening quarter in :26.2, ceded to Caviart Rockland (Yannick Gingras) through a :54.2 half and 1:22.1 third station and then powered past that foe in the stretch to capture the $75,000 2019 Pepsi North America Cup Consolation in a lifetime best 1:49.1. Caviart Rockland stayed for second with Air Force Hanover (David Miller) in the show spot.
Trained by Dr. Ian Moore, Century Farroh (Mach Three - Beachy Girl) is owned by the Ratchford Stable NS of North Sydney, N.S. The win is the fifth in six sophomore starts, lifting his seasonal earnings to $149,900.
