Enola returned to the the $20,139 Open Trot class at Tioga Downs on Saturday, June 13 and scored a gate-to-wire victory in the featured event.

The six-year-old mare fired out from post four for Mike Merton and led her five male opponents to the quarter in :27.4, half in :57 and three-quarters in 1:25.1. With the first-up Chuckthemillionair (Kyle Dibenedetto) backing out of it on the final turn, Dewey Arnold (Braxten Boyd) left the pocket for his shot, but Enola resisted his charge to win by a half-length in 1:54.1. Sir Maverick (Joe Chindano Jr.) finished third.

Enola, who won the Tioga Open twice last season, is now four-for-18 this year for trainer Rob Harmon and owner Go For Glory Stable LLC. The six-year-old daughter of Resolve-Deweys Katie is now 20-for-107 lifetime. She returned $6.64 at the windows.

Braxten Boyd drove five winners on the 10-race card.  The “Michigan Missile” won the first race with Mob Rat ($25.90) and the last four with What A Buckeye ($6.20), April Ava ($8.58), Worth A Whisper ($4.60) and Rocket Man Hill ($2.64). Boyd, the 2025 Dan Patch Rising Star Award recipient, has 153 wins this year in 977 starts. He is third in the Tioga standings with 27 wins, one back of second-placed Merton and three adrift of leader Jim Pantaleano.
