After suffering a heartbreaking three-quarter length loss last week in Buffalo Raceway's Class A Open Trot, Lunar Credit made sure that it didn't happen again.

Streaking out to an early lead, Lunar Credit ($5.00) bounced back nicely in strolling to an easy two-length victory over Tartufo Lindy (Dan Yetman) in the $10,500 main event on Friday evening. He posted a seasonal mark of 1:58.1 over the fast track in securing the win.

Just seven days ago, Lunar Credit was sent off at 53-to-1 and just lost to All About Thechase. Without last week's nemesis to worry about, Lunar Credit kept his mind on his business, setting fractions of :29.1, :58.3 and 1:28.

In the lane, there were no worries as Lunar Credit enjoyed the care-free drive to the finish as the remaining seven participants were left to battle for the minor spoils. Tartufo Lindy took second place while Keystone Apache (Shawn McDonough) rolled in for third.

Owned by winning driver James McNeight Jr. and trained by Jim McNeight, it was the second victory in eight outings for the six-year-old Lunar Credit (Credit Winner-Lunar Dream). The score pushed his earnings to $14,095 on the year and $121,358 in his life.

The lone $8,600 Class B trot saw J S Swanman ($4.60) lead at every station then managed to hold off a stubborn Franks Watching (Ray Fisher, Jr.) by a neck in a seasonal best of 1:57.

J S Swanman was driven to the victory by McNeight, Jr. and trained by McNeight. Owned by Michael Ventura, it was the third triumph in 17 appearances by J S Swanman, now a winner of $18,692 in 2021 and $108,157 lifetime.

There was a trio of $8,600 Class B races on the program with Brookdale Sonny ($4.40) racing to a half-length decision over a fast-closing Arrhythmic Surge (Wade Tomaszewski) in a seasonal best of 1:55.2.

Owned by Michael Torcello and trained by Gerry Sarama, it was the third victory in 16 attempts for Brookdale Sonny (Jim Morrill, Jr.). The win jumped his bankroll to $12,453 on the campaign and $145,273 in his career.

In the second division, London Seelster ($2.80) finally got a great post position and he didn't let it go to waste as he buried the field in 1:55.2. A :27.2 last panel clinched the victory as Heez Orl Black N (Kevin Cummings) finished 2-1/2 lengths back in second.

Co-owned by driver David McNeight III and James Costa, London Seelster is conditioned by Cassandra Johnson. The win, his first in 15 starts on the season, upped his bankroll to $12,917 and $198,739 lifetime.

The final division was the fastest one as Thor De Vie (McNeight III) led the entire mile and put away Andys Ideal (McNeight, Jr.) by 1-3/4 lengths in a 2021 best of 1:54.2.

Co-owned by trainer Jim Graham, Lee Winters, Giuseppe Micchia and Paul Tandlmayer, Thor De Vie ($5.10) has produced $20,876 on the year and $104,596 in his 95 career races.

McNeight III completed the evening with four victories with Morrill, Jr. and McNeight, Jr. getting two each. Jim McNeight had two training wins.

Racing continues on Saturday night at 6 p.m. with a nine-race card to be presented.
