Button Fly paced home for his third straight win Tuesday (June 11) in Northfield Park’s eighth race.
Button Fly (Lis Mara - Earhart Hanover) is owned by Gerald Mijal of Westland, Michigan. Trainer Billy Farmer returned Robert Dinning to the sulky after he won with the horse last week. Driver Ronnie Wrenn Jr. was aboard for the first win in the trio of successes.
Burron Fly began from post-seven and sustained a tough first-over bid to secure a neck victory over Mach Force One (Kurt Sugg). The mile clocking was 1:57.1.
Tuesday’s triumph increased Button Fly’s (Lis Mara-Earhart Hanover-Artiscape) lifetime wins tally to five and his career earnings to $10,232. He paid $9.40 to win.
