After making a break at the wire Roan Star handed the victory to Aforgottendynasty in the featured $11,000 Not Listed Preferred Trot on Wednesday at Sudbury Downs

Trainer, driver and co-owner Darryl Munro tucked Aforgottendynasty into the pocket behind Roan Star (Paul MacLean), who rolled through panels of :30.1, 1:01.2 and 1:32. Roan Star, the odds-on favourite, attempted to take all the glory as he turned for home, but a late-stretch miscue forced a judge’s placing. Aforgottendynasty inherited the win after finishing second. Charlie O Charlie (Gerry Belanger) was bumped up to second while Roan Star was placed third. The winning time of the mile was 2:02 for Aforgottendynasty, who posted a 9-1 upset.
Anna Rhymer of Sudbury also shares ownership of the six-year-old Mr Lavec trotter. The win was his fourth of the season and eighth of his career lifting his bankroll to $99,400.
