Aberlard Hanover romped to his third straight victory despite being assigned outside of six foes in the $30,000 Winners Over Handicap Pace at Harrah's Philadelphia on Friday.

Driver Ron Pierce sent the five-year-old son of Rocknroll Hanover to the lead during a :26.2 opening panel before taking a second quarter breather. Abelard Hanover reached the half in :55.4, followed by three-quarters in 1:23 and cruised home in a matching :27.1 final panel for the 1:50.1 victory.

The favourite paid $3.80 to win. Third choice Bettors Glass (Tim Tetrick) advanced first over to place, two and a quarter lengths behind, with second choice Meirs Hanover (Matt Kakaley) finishing third.

Trained by Marvin Callahan, Abelard Hanover is now eight-for-14 on the year with over $133,000 earned in purses. The 22-time career winner is owned by Alvin Callahan, Suzanne Waskey, and Pamela Price.
