Fashion Terror ($2.70) and driver Braxten Boyd won the featured $13,889 fillies and mares conditioned pace at Tioga Downs on Friday, May 9.
Sweet Carollou (Tyler Miller) led to the quarter in :28.1, but Fashion Terror took over control with a circuit to go. The heavy favourite was first to the half in :56.1 and three-quarters in 1:24.2 en route to the 1:54.1 victory over the sloppy track by 1-3/4 lengths. American Hope (Jim Taggert Jr.) advanced first-over down the backstretch to place while Sweet Carollou settled for third.
Owned by All Star Racing Inc., Fashion Terror is a homebred three-year-old filly by Huntsville out of High Fashion Model, trained by Mark Ford. Last year's New York Excelsior Series champion now has six career victories from 11 outings, including back-to-back wins at Tioga in the first three starts of her sophomore campaign.
Live harness racing resumes at Tioga on Saturday, May 10, with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
