Musical Rhythm extended his winning streak to 11 in a row thanks to a dominant performance in Monday’s $34,000 Preferred Trot at Mohawk Racetrack.

Mario Baillargeon got away fourth with Musical Rhythm while Fearless Man and Windsun Revenge hustled past the quarter pole in :27. Fearless Man worked his way to the top, but Musical Rhythm was at his bridle at the half in :56.4. Musical Rhythm proceeded to lead the field past the three-quarter marker in 1:25.2 before using a :28-second kicker to win by 6-3/4 lengths over O Narutac Perfetto in 1:53.2. Windsun Revenge was third.

Trainer Ben Baillargeon co-owns the four-year-old son of Cantab Hall-Musical Victory with Claude Hamel, Santo Vena and Nunzio Vena. The photogenic performer, who is now 9-for-9 this season, has banked $129,300 in 2016. To date, the trotter has stashed away earnings in excess of $225,000.
