The Sunday matinee program at Truro Raceway was dominated by trainers Nicholas White and Dr. Trevin Shive, who each sent out three winners
on the 13-race card.
White, who started the day leading all Truro trainers with 16 wins, bumped that number to 19 thanks to victories with Mercedes Seelster (2:05.2), Indicator (2:01) and All Natural Power (2:03).
Shive caught fire in the late stages of the program thanks to score with My Fine Lady (1:58) in Race 9, P H Hotshot (1:58) in Race 11 and P H Bestman (1:55.3) in Race 12.
White enjoyed a career-year in 2008 when it came to wins (60) and earnings ($47,138). Shrive, who sent out nine winners over the course of the 2009 campaign, has already clicked for 11 wins this season from just 28 starts.
