Steacy Triples Up At Kawartha

A trio of Mark Steacy pupils made their sophomore debuts on Saturday at Kawartha Downs and all three put forth winning efforts for the Lansdowne horseman

In Race 2 the Sjs Caviar trotter Patron Blue Chip (2:03.4) won his sophomore debut with Steacy in the bike while the three-year-old Art Major pacing filly Allstar Salute debuted a winner (2:01.2) in Race 5. The Mach Three pacing colt Mild Mannered (1:59.1) also won his first start of the season in his eighth assignment.

Steacy’s training triple brought his yearly win total to seven and his earnings to nearly $30,000. Throughout his career, he has sent a total of 956 winners postward good for over $10.5 million in purses.
