Trainer Carl Jamieson has spoken to the WEG media office regarding Chief Of The Beach and World Away, which comprise the two-horse entry he will be sending
forth to the $73,500 final of the Diplomat Pacing Series, this Saturday, May 9 at Mohawk Racetrack.
“Last week we raced them both off the front,” Jamieson said. “We’re hoping not to do that on Saturday. World Away unfortunately drew the 10 hole, which isn’t going to help him, but Chief Of The Beach will leave from [post position] five, so we’ll see what happens. They’re both nice colts but pretty green still.”
Real Desire colt Chief Of The Beach has been gauged at odds of 80-1 in Trot Magazine's 2009 Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book, while Western Terror colt World Away has been assessed at odds of 85-1.

Four other Cup eligibles -- Stinger Blue Chip, Fire On The Water, Bay Of Sharks, and Primary Purpose -- make up the field.
The Diplomat Pacing Series final has been carded as Race 6 on Mohawk's Saturday card and holds an estimated post time of 9:15 p.m.
