Mighty Mouse extended her win streak to six in a row with another front-end effort at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Friday night (May 6).
Driven by J Harris, Mighty Mouse won the $12,000 claiming-conditioned pace for fillies and mares in 1:58.3 by one and a half lengths, with Spilling The Beans finishing second for the third straight week. Third prize went to Sgt Neilgreenberet.
Fresh off a 1:56.4 career-best mile last Friday, Mighty Mouse paid $2.70 to win as the 1-5 favourite.
Mighty Mouse's streak includes four wins racing for trainer Jim Watt and owner Alyshia Williamson, who claimed the five-year-old mare for $7,500 on April 7 at Flamboro Downs.
The daughter of Million Dollar Cam has earned seven of her 11 career wins this year and almost half of her $42,000 bankroll.
