One of the continent's top pilots has said this about whipping: "Young drivers have a tendency to go to the whip
too quickly. The more races I'm in, the less it seems I need to go to the whip."
Surprisingly, the quotes come from a young reinsman -- the continent's top dash winner this year, as a matter of fact. Aaron Merriman, who has thrust himself into the industry spotlight, has shown he has the desire, will and drive to reach the upper ranks in the drivers' standings. His 300 wins this season (to date) attest to that.
"I want to win, I'm aggressive, and I want to be in as many races as I can," Merriman was quoted as saying in an article by the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
