Dan Patch Award winner Apex sits atop the first edition of this year's "Road to the Hambletonian."
The Marcus Melander-trained winner of the Mohawk Million in 1:51.4 at Woodbine Mohawk Park during his standout two-year-old season in 2025 is scheduled to train at The Meadowlands on May 8 and qualify on May 23.
The top 10 rankings are compiled by Meadowlands Racetrack's Ken Warkentin each week leading up to the 101st Hambletonian (Grade 1), which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8 at The Meadowlands.
