British Columbia's leading driver Jim Marino continued to rack up the wins at Fraser Downs scoring victories in half of Saturday's 12 races.
Marino's six-bagger pushed his Fraser win total to 69 -- more than double his nearest competitor. With a 0.363 winning percentage so far this year, the Surrey reinsman is currently tied for second in the national standings.
Marino teamed up with trainer Ty O'Neill for three of his wins aboard Such A Night ($2.50), I Hear Voices ($3.70), and Cord And Heartless ($10.80).
He also won with the streaking Promising Girl ($4.30) for trainer Scott Knight and pulled off a pair of upsets aboard Semper Fortis ($44) for Erika Schmid and Pureform Venus ($23.20) for Heather Burke.
