It has been reported that there will be no more live racing or simulcasting taking place this year at Pinnacle Race Course.
According to an article by The News Herald, the track's race-meeting license and simulcasting permit for 2011 has been relinquished to the Michigan Gaming and Control Board.
The report explains that the simulcast purse money will now be put into escrow, and that the track will be able to go through the process of re-applying for operating licenses in 2012 if it can get its finances in order.
