Daryl Bier and Joann Dombeck's Wind Of The North ($4, Victor Kirby) was an impressive 1:53.4 winner in the $15,000 Open Trot on Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.
The Jenny Bier trainee registered his 27th career win via a front-end performance in which the set all the fractions and held off last week's winner and track record holder (aged trotting stallions) Celebrity Pegasus. I Like My Boss was third.
Wind Of The North has banked more than $768,000 lifetime.
Vince Copeland had three wins on the program. Kirby and Eddie Dennis each had a driving double.
