Miss Me Yet sprung a mild upset Tuesday in the $16,000 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway with a 1:53 triumph.
Jag Out set the pace with fractions of :27.2, :55.4, and 1:24.1. The field of seven was bunched in the stretch but Miss Me Yet found a seam late for driver Montrell Teague and together they surged by in the final strides the win. Newborn Sassy, who had won two straight, rallied for second while Jag Out held on for third.
The four-year-old Im Gorgeous mare notched her 11th career win for trainer Clyde Francis and owners George Teague Jr and Teague Racing Partnership. She paid $14.60 to win.
It was one of three wins on the program for Teague.
