Handsome Harry captured his third straight victory at Tioga Downs on Saturday night in the second leg of the Tioga Country Club Pacing series.

Andy Santeramo picked up the drive on the three-year-old son of Dream Away - Princess Jocelyn for trainer Mark Ford. The duo sat through an opening quarter of :27.3, but brushed past the field to take control before the three-eighth’s pole. Santeramo passed the half in :56.4 and laid the pedal to the medal pacing a third quarter in :27.3, reaching the three quarter mile mark in 1:24.2. Handsome Harry was on cruise control for the final panel of :28.1, without an anxious moment to stop the timer in 1:52.3.

Handsome Harry now sports a record of five wins, two seconds, and two thirds in nine seasonal starts for earnings of more than $29,000. Really Rockin and Greg Merton got up for second, while Dali Hanover and Sam Schillaci paced home late for the show spot.

In the other division of the Tioga Country Club Pacing series, Lockridge made it two straight series victories for Mike Merton, and trainer Kevin Johnson.

Merton sent the three-year-old son of Everlasting Art - Radiant Bab to the front and never looked back through fractions of :27, :56, and 1:23.3 before pacing a final panel of :29.4 to stop the teletimer in 1:53.2.

Lockridge sports two wins and a second in three seasonal starts for Ferris-Gee Stables and Rebecca Williams.

Andy Santeramo posted a driving triple on the night’s 11-race card, while Jimmy Marohn Jr. enjoyed a double.
