B Vs Sister worked out a comfortable pocket trip, then shot the sloppy Lightning Lane to score a narrow victory in Tuesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows

.

After Greg Grismore hustled B Vs Sister away from the gate from Post 3, she settled in behind Caviar Forthe Lady, who was strong enough to carry her to the Lightning Lane. The seven-year-old daughter of Big Victory-First Breath had plenty left for the drive, prevailing in 1:57 by a head over Rose Run Keepsake, who raced well first over. Caviar Forthe Lady saved show.

Virgil Morgan, Jr. trains B Vs Sister, who now boasts career earnings of $495,846, for Ken Sommer of Sheffield, Ohio.
