The Heather Hawkins stable performed to perfection on Saturday afternoon (May 28) at Northside Downs, with three wins from three starts during the 10-race program.
Three-year-old pacing filly Victory Cry set the tone for the day with a maiden-breaking, seven-length win in the opener for Northside's 2015 leading stable. Hawkins later sent out back-to-back winners in the sixth and seventh races, including 11-year-old pacing gelding Dreamfair Van Dam, who is perfect himself in three starts on the season, and 13-year-old pacing gelding Electric Prince. John Kennedy drove all three winners.
In other action, Barry Bates' five-year-old pacing mare Windsong Katie won the afternoon's featured $1,100 Winners Over Pace in a career-best 1:58.3.
