David Miller’s Cash On Delivery ($3.80, Vince Copeland) earned a repeat win in the $18,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway Wednesday with a 1:56 triumph.
Trained by his driver, Cash On Delivery made his customary charge from off the pace a successful one as he grinded away at pacesetter Wark Woman and edged clear in the stretch for a half-length win over Major Herbie. Wark Woman finished third.
The win was the fourth of the year for Cash On Delivery, who surpassed $200,000 in lifetime earnings.
