Eight-year-old pacer Silk Puddles wore down the pacesetter in his fourth race assignment at Sudbury Downs on Saturday night to earn his sixth consecutive victory for trainer Yvon Lamoureux.

Driver David Dowling sent the streaking Silk Puddles first up from fourth after the opening quarter and went head-to-head with leader Daibin N (Redmond Doucet), eventually wearing him down to score in 1:59. Xlr Ray Shun King (Mike MacNeill) finished two lengths behind and Astro Lad (Paul MacLean) was third while the pacesetter faded to eighth.

The Dancing Puddles-Silky Blue gelding, owned by Omer Belisle of Val Caron, Ont., is now six-for-six since joining Lamoureux's barn in April.
