Heist shot the Lightning Lane to the lead, then held off the furious rally of Keeper Of Secrets to capture Friday’s co-feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $13,600 conditioned trot.
Heist (pictured above) kicked past Redwhite N Goo in mid-stretch but still had to deal with Keeper Of Secrets, who had made up more than six lengths with a sustained first-over bid. The four-year-old son of Father Patrick-Miss Paris dug in for Dave Palone and edged Keeper Of Secrets by a head in 1:53.3, with Littlesammy third.

In Friday’s companion feature, a $13,600 conditioned pace, Rocked N Loaded, a six-year-old Pet Rock-An Original gelding, came off the cones in the final turn and blazed through the stretch to score in a career-best 1:50.3 for Hunter Myers and owner/trainer Andy Rickert. Ice House and American Fling rounded out the ticket.
Jeremy Indof and trainer Dirk Simpson teamed for three victories on the 13-race card while Palone also enjoyed a triple.
Live harness racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday when the 12-race program features a $1,588 carryover in the Early Pentafecta (Race 4). First post is 12:45 p.m.
