Fancy Filly To Contest Lynch Elims

O'Brien Award winner Fancy Filly headlines a list of 19 three-year-old pacing fillies which have been drawn to contest three eliminations for the James M. Lynch Memorial Stakes this Saturday, May 29, at Pocono Downs

.

The top three finishers in each of the elims will advance to the $250,000 final on Saturday, June 5.

Breeders Crown divisional winner Fancy Filly, a daughter of Western Hanover, has drawn Post 1 in the third of the elims (Race 9) for trainer George Teague, Jr. Brian Sears will be driving, and he and the lass have been installed as the 9-5 morning-line favourite.

Fancy Filly won her only pari-mutuel start of the 2010 season at the Meadows in a Pennsylvania Sire Stake race after having stopped the timer in g the timer in 1:53.3.

The second elim (Race 7) will feature Feeling You (PP6, J. Morrill, Jr., 2-1), No Bad Luck (PP5, B. Sears, 5-2) Western Moonlight (PP1, G. Napolitano Jr., 7-2) and Native Doll (PP3, B. Miller, 9-2)

Ruffles Kiss (PP4, J. Pavia, Jr., 2-1) has been installed as the morning-line favourite for the first elim (Race 5).
