On Wednesday, May 25 at Monticello Raceway, Chosen Voyageur recorded a 10-length victory in the weekly trotting feature.
The mile time of 1:58 was one of the fastest trotting miles in the history of the 'Mighty M' and was just one fifth of a second off the track mark for older geldings
Zeke Parker was at the controls of Chosen Voyageur and the pair didn't experience an anxious moment en-route to an easy victory over Income De Vie (driven by Jimmy Marohn, Jr.) and Imallottocatch (John Gilmour).
Chosen Voyageur, an eight-year-old Balanced Image gelding owned by Brenda Messenger and Stephen Petersheim, is trained by Gary Messenger. He paid $5.20 for the win.
