The 1935 Bronco Nagurski. The Pikachu llustrator. And of course, the 1909 Honus Wagner. They are the most valuable trading cards in the world. But what about the 2014 Bee A Magician or the 2013 Foiled Again? They may not be quite as valuable, but more importantly, they are available to harness racing fans.
The Harness Horse Youth Foundation has announced that its 2014 set of "Harness Heroes" cards may now be ordered. Featuring human and equine divisional winners, as well as historical stars of harness racing, the 35-card set is available postage paid for a suggested donation of $15 ($25 in Canada). Limited numbers of previous years’ sets are available at the same price. Proceeds from Harness Heroes card sales help support HHYF summer youth camps and its scholarship program.
To order, send your cheque or money order to HHYF, 16575 Carey Road Westfield, IN 46074. Orders received after June 10 will be filled in August. Make sure to designate which year’s set(s) you wish to receive. You can also order online through PayPal by going to the Harness Heroes page at the HHYF website and following the ordering directions.
