It was another 'insane' effort for Crazy Fool ($3.90) at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday, May 24 as for the second straight week he blew out the field, this time in the $21,918 Open Trot, with a three-length victory over Double Class in a seasonal best of 1:56.4 over the fast track.

In the $21,918 Open Pace, Itsallaboutfaith N ($7.50) went the fastest mile of the 2025 meet at Buffalo Raceway as he blitzed the field in 1:53.3. He beat Davey Day Trader by two lengths.

Last week in a $16,806 trotting event, Crazy Fool scored a superb 5-3/4 length win in a dialed down 1:57.3. Stepping up in competition, he was just as impressive this time but with a faster clocking in burying his five rivals.

At the start, Crazy Fool and El Toro Loco appeared ready to lock horns for early bragging rights but that didn't materialize. Crazy Fool (Kyle Cummings) forced El Toro Loco to drop into the pocket and that proved to be the winning move.

With fractions of :28.3, :59.1 and 1:28.1, Crazy Fool extended his lead to three lengths at the top of the stretch and coasted home for the victory. Double Class (David McNeight III) took the runner up position with El Toro Loco (Kevin Cummings) finishing in third.

Co-owned by Kyle Cummings and Matthew Miller, the five-year-old gelded Crazy Fool (Crazy Wow-Winkys Gal) is trained by Tammy Cummings. The win was his fifth in 15 starts on the season, pushing his earnings to $53,040 and to $141,714 in his career.

The wagering public had 'lukewarm faith' in Itsallaboutfaith N (Jim Morrill Jr.) but he showed their backing was worth it.

Starting from the seven post, Itsallaboutfaith N had to watch as Davey Day Trader and Shipsway sorted themselves out. Approaching the opening marker, Itsallaboutfaith N gained the top and posted a time of :28.1.

From there, Itsallaboutfaith N was bullish on the lead, posting splits of :56.2 and 1:25.3 and never wavered in hitting the finish line in 1:53.3. Davey Day Trader (David McNeight III) could only watch and had to settle for second place while Melanion N (Drew Monti) took third.

Owned by the P T Stable and conditioned by Gareth Dowse, eight-year-old Itsallaboutfaith N (Captaintreacherous-Veste) picked up his fourth win in 13 attempts this year. The victory improved his seasonal bankroll to $69,138 and to $359,918 lifetime.

Racing will continue on Wednesday, May 28 at 2:30 p.m. with a 12-race program scheduled. There's a $1,639 carryover in the Pick 5 which begins in the second race.
