Dont Take My Keys followed cover willingly, then brushed through the stretch to capture his second straight win in Wednesday’s (May 24) co-feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,100 conditioned trot.

When Hunter Myers asked him for trot, the five-year-old Uncle Peter-Designated Driver gelding kicked it into gear to edge Keystone Chaos by a nose in a career-best 1:53.1. Stickler Hanover finished third.

In Wednesday’s companion feature, a $12,100 conditioned pace, Torrin Hanover (pictured above) moved first over from third and rolled to his 34th career victory in 1:51.4. Bereaved Hanover was a half-length back in second, giving trainer Paul Corey an exacta sweep, with Dojea Gizmo third.

Dan Rawlings piloted the eight-year-old Well Said-Transference gelding, who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $512,263, for owner Kenneth Ashba.

Aaron Merriman, Dave Palone, Ronnie Wrenn Jr. and Rawlings joined trainer Dean Collins with two wins on the 13-race card.

Live harness racing at The Meadows continues on Thursday when the program features a $665.36 carryover in the Early Pentafecta (Race 4). First post is 12:45 p.m.
